Pharyngitis test from throat swab- as easy as 1-2-3!

1. Press New sample to type the patient information to print labels (a second label is for an empty tube used for dilution by the analyser) and take a throat swab sample using a Copan Flocked Swab.

2. Cut the swab in a test tube with bar coded pharyn label, add 6 drops of each extraction reagent A and B, vortex for 10-15 sec and wait for 2-10 minutes.

3. Add 1.3 mL of RTI Sample Buffer, vortex for 10-15 sec and insert the sample tubes into the analyser for automated analysis.

View automated results: positive samples are ready in 20 minutes and low positive and negative samples in 2 hours
